Okay, why are these magic? Because you use two crazy ingredients and then stand back and be amazed at how good they are. This is the easiest, by far, of any hors d’ouevres you could make for a party. So give them a try.
30 premade, precooked meatballs
1 bottle cocktail sauce
1 cup grape jelly
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Place the meatballs in a crockpot or large frying pan. If you use a frying pan, place a little oil in the bottom of the pan so the meatballs won’t stick.
Heat the meatballs through thoroughly by keeping the heat on medium. Stir occasionally so they don’t burn.
In a separate bowl, combine entire bottle of cocktail sauce and the 1 cup of grape jelly. Add the lemon juice and stir until well mixed.
Pour the cocktail sauce mixture over the meatballs. Turn the flame down to medium low and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally and make sure that all the meatballs are covered with the sauce.
Serve with toothpicks so people can eat them as an hors d’ouevres.
