1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups oatmeal
1-1/4 cups light brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cups butter melted
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease 9 x 13 baking pan.
Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, soda and salt.
Pour melted butter over flour mixture.
Spread mixture in bottom of pan and pat evenly.
Bake until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
Frost with this chocolate ganache:
9 ounces semisweet chocolate, cut into small pieces
5 tablespoons heavy cream
In top of double boiler set over simmering (not boiling water) melt chocolate. Stir in heavy cream. Spread frosting over cooled oat mixture.
Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
