Slow Cooker Beef Barbeque

Beef Barbeque

3 pound boneless chuck roast
½ teaspoon garlic salt
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium celery stalk, chopped
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
12 hamburger buns

 

Sprinkle chuck roast with garlic salt. Place roast in bottom of slow cooker. Add onion and celery.

Combine sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar in a small bowl. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until beef is tender. Remove meat from slow cooker and place on a cutting board.
